Anna Nicole Smith

What an odd life she lived.

Too short, a mess and a shame

Yes. Should I be ashamed to admit that when I heard they performed CPR on her that my first thought was of how difficult that must have been.

"She checked in Monday at 8 p.m. as a guest. She was due to check out tomorrow," said Danielle Giordaano, a spokeswoman for the hotel.

That spokeswoman was a bit psychic--only missed it by a day.

(My apologies for being insensitive. Truly, what a shame she had such a short and tragic life.)

I haven't the slightest idea who this person was, but apparently she was not too young to dye.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

I bet the justices of the Supreme Court are watching this story closely.

Yes, I can imagine they have their clerks looking up the exact words of Potter Stewart so they don't get them wrong.
